Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co., Limited Partners with Shandong Binyao Power Sales to Sign Contract for 68 Commercial and Industrial Energy Storage Systems with 261 kWh Capacity Each

Recently, Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co., Limited, a globally leading energy storage company, announced a collaboration with Shandong Binyao Power Sales Co., Ltd., officially signing a contract for 68 commercial and industrial energy storage systems, each with a capacity of 261 kWh. The total project scale reaches 17.74 MWh, with the first batch of 64 units already delivered. This cooperation focuses on energy storage solutions for chemical plant zones, aiming to leverage high-efficiency energy storage technology to help customers build a smart energy system featuring coordinated interaction between generation, grid, load, and storage, thereby enhancing energy utilization efficiency and grid stability in industrial settings. 

To meet the stringent safety and environmental adaptability requirements of chemical plants, the commercial and industrial energy storage systems delivered by Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co., Limited are equipped with an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS), enabling real-time monitoring at the cell level and thermal runaway warnings. Combined with a fully enclosed cabinet design and IP55 protection rating, the systems effectively resist interference from industrial environmental factors such as dust and humidity. The integrated design of the 125 kW PCS and high-voltage box reduces the overall footprint by 17% compared to the previous generation while increasing energy density to 80.92%. With a cycle life exceeding 8,000 cycles and stable operation across a wide temperature range of -30°C to 50°C, the system is particularly suited for the continuous operation and high-reliability energy storage demands of chemical production.
