Total Investment of 8.654 Billion RMB! Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co. Limited to Build Energy Storage Battery Base in Malaysia!
On July 25, Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co. Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co. Limited Malaysia, will invest in the construction of a new energy storage battery project in Kedah, Malaysia, with a total investment not exceeding 8.654 billion RMB.
The implementation of this project will further promote the company's overseas business expansion. It will provide solid support for the company's ongoing global leadership strategy.
The project is named the "Malaysia High-Safety, High-Reliability, Long-Life New Energy Storage Project." Located in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, the project plans to expand the energy storage production base on a construction site covering approximately 484,000 square meters, with a construction period not exceeding 2.5 years.
