The 70 MW affordable grid connected photovoltaic power generation project located in Hongshagang Town, Minqin County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is equipped with a 10MW/20MWh energy storage system by the Oregon Technology Team. The energy storage system adopts a modular design scheme, and the 10MW/20MWh system is divided into four 2.5MW/5MWh energy storage subsystem units. The energy storage system includes a box type energy storage battery system, an energy storage converter and booster integrated machine, and an energy management system (EMS).
This project was successfully connected to the grid in 2022 and is mainly used for peak shaving of auxiliary systems, while also taking into account system frequency regulation and other auxiliary services. This project closely revolves around the national strategy and has helped achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
