As the "Dual Carbon(Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality)" goals drive energy transformation, a green energy monument standing tall in the Jiangnan water town—the 100MW/200MWh energy storage power station in Liyang, Jiangsu—has officially been connected to the grid and put into operation. Located in Liyang, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, the project boasts a total capacity of 100MW/200MWh and utilizes Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co. Limited's 5MW centralized energy storage, converter, and booster solution. This solution consists of four Oregon (Shiyan) Amperex Technology Co. Limited's new-generation 1250kW three-phase energy storage converters connected in parallel. These new-generation 1250kW converters offer excellent grid adaptability and stability, enabling precise control of power quality and ensuring stable power output. The 5MW centralized energy storage, converter, and booster, with its highly integrated design, enables efficient and coordinated operation of the energy storage system, achieving energy conversion efficiency exceeding 99%. This ensures efficient energy utilization and improved economic efficiency, providing a solid foundation for flexible grid regulation.

Notably, during the project construction period, Jiangsu Province issued regulations requiring energy storage power stations to submit modeling and simulation reports. The 1250kW energy storage converter used in the project already has electromechanical and electromagnetic transient single-machine modeling and test reports, ensuring the smooth progress of the project construction and becoming a key factor in the project's on-time grid connection.

The commissioning of the Liyang Energy Storage Power Station in Jiangsu Province holds profound significance.
